How does 2003 HW Roy Jones Jr do against Tysons 4 opponents after prison?

Not going to include Holyfield for obvious reasons, but how does he do against the lower tier fighters?

    McNeely
    Mathis
    Bruno
    Seldon

Other than Hurricane, who I'd only seen fight once; If any of those guys land on Roy, it's an issue.

He beats all of them accept maybe Frank Bruno.

Bruce Seldon was quite fast and athletic, that could potentially be a tough fight.

They can all pressure Roid against the ropes and pummel his glass chin, yes even McNeely. Ruiz was either paid off or just too nice/dumb. He must have been kicking himself when he saw Tarver and Glen Johnson make Roy their prison ***** the next year.

I’m not a big fan of fantasy fights with RJJ at HW cause there isn’t really enough evidence to make a credible judgement. We’ve only ever seen him against one HW who got it wrong tactically and didn’t really test him so hits hard to imagine how he would have coped with a different style or more effective tactics.

          IMO:
He’d have toyed with McNeely, he was a club fighter with a padded record. Even Butterbean stopped him...

He’d school Mathis and Seldom pretty easily. Neither of those guys were as a big or as good as Ruiz.

I’d give Bruno a decent shot to beat him. Frank had a very underrated jab and would probably be able to utilise his size advantage to effectively pressure Roy far better than Ruiz did. I’d still probably lean towards Jones on points though as I’m not sure Bruno could deal with the movement speed and angles.

Obviously any HW would have a punchers chance, but I’d probably take Roy to beat all 4.

Did you never see this freak show?

It was on a Vegas undercard, Ayala-Tapia I think.
