The Mora at 160 when he was approaching 30 years old wasn't quite the same slick fighter he was. Have you seen how much he actually backs up and languishes on the ropes, even against guys who aren't considered pressure fighters? Enough with using this broad term like "slick" to describe fighters who happen to have some movement, he wasn't a Whitaker. His style at that time wasn't all that difficult for guys to deal with. He actually chooses to **** it out quite a bit for someone considered slick. Golovkin wouldn't have had a hard time finding him if much lesser fighters were able to.Last edited by AKAcronym; 04-13-2020, 01:00 PM.Comment

Maybe, but it's a shame we were never able to find out since Golovkin wouldn't fight him.The Mora at 160 when he was approaching 30 years old wasn't quite the same slick fighter he was. Looking at Mora's resume it might actually be better than Golovkin's. He fought a lot of big names.Comment

That's great, resumes don't win fights though and I wouldn't have given Mora much of a chance. And after his move back to 160 after Mosley, he really did jack **** except lose to Vera and Jacobs and fighting 8 rounders. So was the majority of the division ducking him, or just Golovkin?Last edited by AKAcronym; 04-13-2020, 03:23 PM.Comment

Golovkin complained that he was being ducked but when Andre Ward and Sergio Mora raised their hands for an opportunity he ducked them. That's great, resumes don't win fights though and I wouldn't have given Mora much of a chance. So he can cry me a river.Comment

ffs dude. That's literally all you ****ers have, "Andre Ward this, Andre Ward that." So how many guys is Canelo currently ducking just because they just so happen to call his name? He can't and won't fight every single one of them so apparently he's ducking multiple fighters in several divisions. Same goes with other guys who just so happen to "raise their hand" when they want a fight. Doesn't mean you're ****ing ducking them.

Daily Bread Mailbag are more frequently these days.
I know there are blanks in this post, because I am not 100% sure, but I want a unbiased member to correct me in this. Is truth Golovkin duck Lara, when Lara was insisting to move to the middleweight? I remember Lara was mentioning his name for a long time. Is truth the second duck was Andre Ward?, remember was a catch weight of GGG team to fight Andre Ward in 164 lbs, When Andre Ward was able to make 168 lbs. Also I read somewhere that Gennady Golovkin duck Badou Jack and James DeGale in 168 lbs, saying they don't bring much to the table, that was really a fact? I don't mention Sergio Mora, because this was discuss in the other post of this thread. I remember well when GGG said that he go to 154 lbs for Floyd Mayweather Jr., but no for Canelo and Lara, this fact was validate?

Canelo has the best resume in the sport. He has earned the right to mix in some easier fights between his tougher challenges.

Meanwhile Golovkin is trying to line up Kamil Szeremeta one fight removed from facing Steve Rolls.Comment

Canelo is in his prime fighting twice a year, **** the whole idea of putting some easier fights in between. When you're making that much money, you should be fighting top guys, also in their prime, more often. Kamil is a **** fight even for a declining 38 year old, so what's your point? Golovkin doesn't call himself the face of the sport.Comment

Canelo has fought everyone there is to fight, dude. Golovkin fans should never open their mouth to say anything bad about his resume.Canelo is in his prime fighting twice a year, **** the whole idea of putting some easier fights in between. He fought Erislandy Lara no questions asked. When Lara wanted to fight Golovkin all the talk from Team GGG was about what he had done to earn it?
Then the next day they would turn around and whine about getting ducked by someone. Without any shame.Comment
