you accused me of being revisionist when its u revising the wbo. They were unreconigsed before 2004, dont rewrite it.
Listen to people who lived through it.
Joe is categorically the British SMW who left it latest to win a recognised title. You can dislike the fact but it will always stand.Comment

Just to get back on track...........
Froch is shooting his mouth off knowing full well that a Fight with Calzaghe will NEVER happen.
Froch might as well gob-off that he would blitz Tyson Fury inside the distance, never going to happen.
It's been public knowledge for several years that JC suffers with arthritis and suffers severely with it, to the extent that he has limited movement in his left hand and would never get a licence to fight from the BBBC.
Froch will be more than aware of this, add to that the death of Joe's father and trainer Enzo. Even a younger prime Calzaghe would have probably retired on Enzo's death.
The Calzaghe family are all very close and Joe was shattered by his fathers death in late 2018, and recently his mother passed away compounding his grief.
All this is just a tasteless and tacky ploy by an increasingly irrelevant Froch, still twisted and bitter after all these years, and still very immature.
But here's the good news for Froch and his little army of fans,Froch has TWO claims to fame that Calzaghe will never be able to match.....
1. He has regained his world title twice (both at the first attempt) after losing them.......Eat you heart out Joe! (The guy must be green with envy!)
2. Froch has NEVER been decked in a light-heavy world title fight, least of all in two consecutive light-heavy fights.
Oh, wait a minute.......................Last edited by OLD JUD; 04-18-2020, 07:11 AM.Comment

Lived through it myself sunshine, 2004 was when WBC (they of the 3 "world champs" within same division and inventors of the "franchise champ") recognised the WBO, plenty of others recognised it earlier. Or were the likes of both Klitschko's, Johnny Nelson, Eubank Snr, Collins, Benn, McClellan, Winky Wright, Judah, DLH, Prince Naz, Barrera and Jorge Arce all plastic champs in your eyes?you accused me of being revisionist when its u revising the wbo.
