Charles was nothing at 37 and he was in the midst of a terrible streak of 4-9 in 13 fights, having only beaten guys who were nobodies. Two even had losing records. That's not a creditable win, cmon now.

        My father Donnie Fleeman

Thank you for writing and posting this article about my father, Donnie Fleeman. He never told me about meeting you but you see my father had Alzheimers. I cherish this article because it was a true picture of his life then.

I feel this is incomplete and need more research from the writer.
I like Tris Dixon's work so maybe I'm biased, but I thought the writing spoke for itself and was very descriptive. What did you want pictures of? His 6 cats? There's one nice photo of him with his hands up and he still looked tough as all hell.

I mean maybe he could have snapped a picture of the photo of Donnie in his prime, and personally I would have shared a Pepsi and peanuts with the man. Perhaps that would have made an interesting shot too but over all I didn't feel like it was lacking anything. The fact it was missing details almost felt sadly appropriate considering his condition.

Unrelated.. but the daughter of Donnie Fleeman bumping this thread is definitely a sign I should finish reading Dixon's book; The Road To Nowhere
