Comments Thread For: Andrade: Liam Williams Is Not Gonna Be The One To Stop This Train

Liam Williams has won six straight fights since losing a 12-round majority decision to former WBO junior middleweight champ Liam Smith. Williams won each of those bouts by knockout or technical knockout. His last victim, Alantez Fox, went 12 rounds with Demetrius Andrade in a fight Fox lost by unanimous decision in October 2017.

Williams is not, by any means, a world class fighter. But is Andrade? Until proven otherwise, he’s simply a titleholder.

“Guys have been ducking Andrade”...yea...just like Floyd and Pacquiao ducked Khan lol

Eh I'd be inclined to agree, Andrade is slippery as hell although Williams can crack and he pressures well.

If Manguia as num 1 WBO contender isn't interested in fighting Andrade next then he should be lowered in rankings

Should be a decent fight and one I wouldn't be surprised who came out victorious.

This is the level Andrade seems to be destined for in his career. And if dazn does go under due to the sars-covid virus, he may find himself fighting in the uk against just this type for the rest of his career

Awww. Bless him. I think Andrade's a great talent but if you're gonna compare his career to a train it'd be like one of those local line 3 carriage affairs that stops at every little middle of nowhere station and seems to move slightly faster than walking pace when it's going flat out.
