Israel Vazquez sparring...

Last week Israel Vazquez started sparring for his upcoming fight against Jhonny Gonzalez on Sept. 10th.

He sparred against Martin Honorio who is 5'10.( Honorio is one of Vazquez sparring partners for this fight) Israel looked very good today. He started off very fast and looked strong. Both guys had their moments and at times they really went at it.
Not bad for this only being his second week at sparring.

Israel is intentionally sparring with guys who are taller than him. So he can adjust to the long arms and height of Jhonny Gonzalez, who stands at 5'7.

Gonzalez vs. Vazquez is going to come down to who can hit who first, and who can take the other guy's shots.

Maybe, but it should be a great fight. I think Vazquez is stronger.
