I don't think so. Fury would most likely not be able to neutralize Wlad's game and make him weaponless if he took the fight to Wlad. Wlad's jab is too good and Fury would basically put himself in a position where he'd also allow Wlad to use his left hook and set up his straight right hand.

He’d have probably stopped him had he employed that strategy. Wlad never had the best inside game...

Please consider Klitschko's age when he fought Joshua (whom he was still able to knock down).

Also, the loss to Sanders is (unlike the loss to Puritty and Brewster) no shame in my opinion. Otherwise an average boxer, Sanders had one of the fastest, most accurate and most devastating left hands ever. Look at at his fight against Vitali Klitschko. Never ever have I seen Vitali in that much trouble, on the verge of a knockdown.

Fury does not have that kind of power. I think he beats even a prime Wladimir Klitschko 8/10 times, but by outboxing him. Unlike Wilder, who has huge power but terrible accuracy, Wladimir was both powerful and accurate. A slugfest with him would be far more dangerous than with Wilder - Fury would be ****** to do that when there is a far easier route to success.

If fury tried to be aggressive he would get jabbed and clinched all night. Wlad had that spoiler style that the ref would let him get away with in his hometown
