using some reason,

1) Lomachenko being elevated to the franchise champion was out of haneys control. Haney at that time was the interim champ (didn't really do anything to deserve it though) and was elevated to the WBC champion.

Undeserved path to a title, but Ive seen fighters facing worse fighters for vacant titles and he actually called out lomachenko.

2) Haney was injured after his last fight in september and was sidelined for at least 6 months. WBC stripped him and demoted him to champion in recess or something similar.

Im not sure why the WBC were so strict with Haney when a lot of WBC champions got a lot of leeway in the past (looking at chavez jr.).

Fortuna Vs Campbell were supposed to fight for the vacant title. Fight didnt happen because of corona. No one fought for the title while haney was injured, so there is no real reason for him being stripped.
