I pick Pep because i take quality over quantity.

outside of punch output why do you think he beats em though

      Your right , fantasy fight
I find Loma would be the more sound boxer
I think Pep would be hard to hit for a while but believe Loma would figure him out
The reason I don’t see Pep winning is the fact that he would fight in spurts , Loma is not the easiest fighter to hit especially as the fight goes on
I find Loma’s style to be like Pep’s just a little more improved

the problem with a lot of recent fantasy matchups... is the level

Pep is way too high to reasonably match up against a guy who only has about a dozen professional fights... many against debatable opposition

            a dozen

Pep had more fights than Lomachenko had hot dinners, 200+

            also... Pep is seriously under-rated

some of the comments from ignorant casuals about older fighters are truly disgusting

Pep was a absolute ring genius... he is actually the original Lomachenko, but better

agreed...most times people dont understand what they see

with that footwork he used....he seemlessly transitioned from righty to southpaw and back....whether moving forward back or laterally while being able to counter, jabs even combo....turn you and then attack again

very underrated and their is a lot of footage of him

loma is more flash......pep was more efficient.....why make all those herky jerky moves not to land a punch after making your man miss....same thing id say about pacquaio...it looks good but its about efficiency.....guys like Juan Manuel Marquez, and say Andre ward move just enough to make you miss and land....pep movement more often did fight flat footed but didnt waste much at all

We’ll said and I ain’t dissing the Willie here
But I do believe Loma has taken much from him and only think he would be better because of the training difference of times etc etc

if they fought, Pep would obviously be using the same modern training techniques

personally I think it is horribly flawed to suggest that modern training techniques automatically mold a better fighter...

                  e.g....

                  Q. how many fighters today use modern training techniques ?
                  A. ALL of them, with no exception lol

and yet, we can see that most fighters today could not live with greats of the past... some could, but most could not... half of them seem to gas after a few rounds, and yet historically guys back in the day fought much more regularly than fighters today... and 15 round fights to boot

a lot of young fighters have flawed/sloppy technique... they look like they were trained by "mitt-men"... not seasoned mentors/trainers... genuine contenders knew how to fight off the back foot, most seemed much more well-rounded than fighters of today... there was better depth

as we can see from videos of Pep, his ringIQ was off the charts

                      Gotta go with Pep.

He's top 10 all-time and the GOAT defensive fighter.

Loma's great, but not that great
