I agree Thurman needs that kind of fight too but he has to win to stay relevant and I dont think he can beat the top guys in the division any more and if he fights them and loses he will talk about pre existing conditions that's not been heard of before and the guy that beats him will lose some luster from critics. It's not a good situation with Thurman nowadays no matter how you scratch it up.

cant argue with that - Mikey is safety 1st dull as hell!! But so is Broner against top competition- very reluctant to let his hands go and just covers up for a decision loss!!!

                    ———///

Horn was a young lion? That’s laughable.
Was Mosley a young lion when PAC fought him after he had just been beaten up by Floyd?

You seem to just ignore context while talking about it.

Baldomir was no bum. He had beaten the top guy (Zab) at WW and had one belt while Zab remained with one because Baldomir couldn’t afford the sanctioning fee.

Floyd was not a PPV Star and needed belts as leverage to make the big fights. He fought both Zab and Baldomir.

To compare Zab to a walking punching bag like Rios means your history of boxing is pretty flawed.

PAC was in his prime when he picked guys like Broner, Mathysse, Vargas, Rios, etc.

Rios had zero shot of even troubling PAC and he was also moving up in weight to fight PAC
