Will Zhilei Zhang ever get a shot?

He turns 37 years old in less than a month.

He obviously can’t fight because of the coronavirus pandemic.

His highest ABC title ranking is 11th.

It doesn’t look good for him and I think that’s a shame. I think the coolest thing in the world would be having the heavyweight champion travel to China to take on a 6-foot-6 Chinese heavyweight contender. It would be huge.

too old. It was his first fight against someone who is known to be tough and he can learn from that fight on how to pace himself better, but he visibly tired against Rudenko in the second half. Can't see him having success against real contenders.

They should either reschedule the Kuzmin fight or match him against David Price. Knocking out Price still has value to increase his popularity. Somewhat winnable fight for Price though.

I watched the Rudenko fight and I agree. I like the Price fight idea too, it would be a fun watch, I'd give Price a shot. I could see Price putting him down that getting knocked out himself. He did vs Thompson 2, Hammer and Povetkin (standing count, ropes kept him up) I think Wilder, Joshua and Kronk Fury would get him out of there quite early.
