I’ll be supporting canelo as I always support my own people, but I’m on record saying Bivol and Benavidez both beat canelo... and i haven’t changed my mind. I see Bivol is willing to take less to have a shot at the face of boxing and he says that the real benefits come after the victory... I couldn’t agree more and that shows confidence in himself. I hope canelo gives Bivol his shot soon... him and Benavidez vs canelo are the two fights I want the most for canelo.

I've been saying this for a while. If Bivol is WILLING or REALLY wants Canelo at 168, then why doesn't he offer Canelo a catchweight at 169-172?! lol This way Canelo can at least get Bivol's belt. We all know Duva and Hearn just parading headlines so they can all make a buck off Canelo and stir smoke away from Smith or BJS. I'll say again, what does Bivol offer Canelo at 168? Does Bivol relinquish his belt going to 168? Or is it just a one off while Bivol doesn't have a consequence should he lose to Canelo yet still keep his 175 strap? Bivol is not even P4P. It's just a fake callout. What would the split be for Bivol? He doesn't sell gates...

With all that being said, I would rather Bivol vs Canelo be at the full 175. He looked poor against Castillo. With VADA deep, I bet Bivol looks even worse. Bank on it!
