They do it every time. American with an 0 and they are hyped through the roof. Then posters pretend they never rated him when they inevitably lost. 'yeah I said he'd knock out Joshua fury usyk whyte and that he is hardest puncher in history of sport but I didn't actually rate him', there were a tonne of posters saying that sort of stuff. fact is he fought one top fighter and got beaten like a child. U know what I actually felt sorry for him until he started blaming it on a suit of armour. The opposition he was fighting was God damn awful, people acting like ortiz was some Cuban great- his best win was Bryant jennings or literally 50 year old Tony Thompson lol. They also lied about his amateur career to hype him up when in reality it was anything but world class, he lost to solis like 6 times and never did anything on international scene.Comment

Wilder was defintelly a product of the American hype machine. He was the first really American HW champion since Holyfield. They had to endure Lennox and the Klitschkos.
He was created as a sort of mythical fighter with this world shattering powerComment
