The techradar article uses statements like ‘scientific research states otherwise’ without providing any sources. It’s a pretty useless source of information

Both articles quote only the ICNIRP, which has been questioned in terms of its impartiality:

International Journal of Oncology is an international journal devoted to oncology research and cancer treatment.

I don’t have a view yet because I don’t understand enough right now

But the debate is eerily similar to the old religion vs atheist debates - I.e. the other side is ******, look at all this science that disproves it. Yet that ‘science’ isn’t questioned
Are you joking? 'Science' is all about questioning and all theories are available to be disproved and largely based of observable evidence. Religion is about not questoning and accepting what humans have wrote down, and coincidentally become ultra wealthy/powerful off, as fact and with no observable evidence or application.

I have a much harder time believing that what people have written down is correct and un-corrupted than the existence of a creator overall.

In regards to 5G being harmful I've not looked into it enough to say either but the argument the waves being on lower energy part of the EM spectrum than light seems logical and would be where I started to research.

      Amir Khan conspiracy theory debate

Amir Khan conspiracy theory is spreading, that is fast. NHL also is not helping with miscommunication and misinformation.

Yeah, I couldn't quite get the parallel that techliam was drawing there either, and like you I've not enough specialised knowledge to have formed a particular opinion yet either, though I have enough of a background to understand the relevent research and some experience sifting through the information on this kinda debate that I'm willing to spend an afternoon getting a feel for it.

In general though my inclination on any debate on this kind is to lean towards caution where it comes to potential health hazards. If there's reasonable doubt then I think it's usually best to err on the side of the action or policy with the least potential to cause direct damage to health or wellbeing.

Besides, I got Ms Koba here already drawing up designs for her tinfoil bodysuit and I want to be in an informed position to be able to put her mind to rest or at least explain the relative merits of the various arguments on the issue of 5g (and EMF exposure in general)- and the positions and interests of the parties involved.

EDIT: I got an extensive list of research papers here which it's claimed are at least indirectly relevent, or at least provide sufficient reason to believe more safety research is required , but I doubt I'm gonna be able to do more than scratch the surface in terms of the time I got acvailable or am willing to commit to this matter. Trick with this stuff is learning to scan the abstracts to pick out the most directly relevent information and research without getting too bogged down in the tangential and misleading shit.

I wasn’t making a direct parallel between the two cases, only comparing the logic in the arguments I’ve seen - that being behind ‘science’, whatever that means, is value in and of itself, when it should be the strength of the argument that matters

Yes science is often defined by the process of scientific enquiry, hence the quotation marks used as I don’t believe using Google fits that definition. Obviously you have your views on that topic, but I’ll just conclude with the argument that those two sides are not mutually exclusive - a scientific approach is barely comparable to a spiritual/epistemological one (in means, methods or aims) so it’s a rather pointless debate

Doesn't it give you a frickin' headache? Smh

Put it this way, the village idiots are roaming and refusing to practice something as simple as social distancing, but we're supposed to believe they're gonna STOP using their devices because of this 5G nonsense. Lol

            Please!

People are way too selfish and obviously want the attention on them, hence the foolish 5G conspiracies. Don't forget, people...this Khan idiot is the same guy who spanked his monkey on a live stream and had his wife wandering for the attention of other men because he couldn't seem to get his mind on track...and this is the guy you wanna believe? Have at it.

A lot of things are being revealed during these times of uncertainty. The "femi-****s" are folding as we speak....the whole "strong and independent" woman stance is pure hogwash and those same women are rethinking their foolish stances against men.

Weak men are folding as we speak. Let's not forget about them. Those same feminists have had to succumb to the fact that this pandemic can give two shits about their gender, affirmative action, their feelings, social justice warriors, etc.

We had a nurse here in Georgia who QUIT because her female boss is "the devil" for sending her on the "Corona unit". Apparently, her boss "knew of her health history (breast cancer in remission) but "sent her anyway".

What did she do? She proceeded with the crocodile tears and the whole, "I got kids at home" single mother narrative and nobody fell for it. Poor fool. Now she's out of a job because she failed to think rationally and expected somebody else to pick up the slack....as most feminists and foolish women do because society's made it easy for them to put accountability on the back burner. Lol

She's legally and morally obligated to serve the people and she decides to quit?! So, you mean to tell me she's the ONLY medical staff member with children? FOH, toots! Do your job or go home. I swear, most women think when **** hits the fan that alllll men will be selected before them to fight on the front lines and it'll be up to the remainder of women to be chosen if it gets that serious. Nice try!

This pandemic is for the mentally strong...the ones who walk what they talk, not the feminists who trash the same men whom have been shamed and forced to support their ignorant causes.

People need to cut the conspiracies and act accordingly, but this world has become so self-absorbed and "me me me" nowadays so only time will tell.
