$80 PPV = 4 Months DAZN / yet you cancel at any time

Annual DAZN subscribers before the sports crisis will get prorated credit, days lost (free month(s)) after commencement.

The pandemic is an opportunity to judge whether fans want to rewatch old boxing matches that the streaming services have touted as a reason to purchase.

It appears that fans don’t particularly like this to the degree those that push streaming services suggested.

My guess is only a small percentage of diehard fans wants to watch fights again already knowing the outcome.

With the fallout from the pandemic will consumers still be able to afford DAZN and espn+ On a monthly basis?

I also wonder what will happen with PPV? Will the price come down? Will it be eliminated all together?

Welcome back dude. We were all worried about you. You live in NJ innit? Keep going strong mayne.

I was going to make a parody thread “will ESPN customers get a refund...” etc.. but then I thought this thread would be more original.

I rewatch old fights every now and then but I wouldnt pay for it. Top rank has a ton of old fights on their official youtube, so why would I pay for old fights on DAZN. I have my own collection though its been harder to get them now days than it used to be.

Annual subscribers pay $8.33 a month so with a 1 year subscription you get 9 months of access to all Canelo, Joshua, GGG, Inoue, Jacobs, Mikey Garcia, Ryan Garcia, as well as any old fight you want in HD...

          OR

You get 4 hours of access to live PPV event. Then nothing

          Pretty easy decision

YouTube is utter garbage. It completely went commercial. There’s a damn commercial every second. It wasn’t like that at all couple of years ago. Now YouTube wants you to PAY a subscription for commercial free entertainment.

I mean playback from a laptop or a computer is one thing... I’m planning on buying a 65” next month. I don’t want random commercial ads when running YouTube. It is the most annoying thing.

All the old fights are on YouTube. And Dazn does not have any fights I would even pay $1 to watch. I’m not a Canelo or GGG fan. So guys like Andrade and Jacobs who I like are losing thier following and getting limited viewership by being behind the Dazn paywall.

DAZN has the best quality. They get the masters from old fights in BetaCAM or HDCAM tape and encoded to H.264.
