I've been on the fence about DAZN the last two weeks, mainly due to our government and deception, BUT..I can confidently say:

I believe DAZN will succeed, and in fact, have the greatest last 6 month(July to december) stretch in boxing history. Think about this: there are so many fighters who need fights lined up, hearn and de la hoya are gonna have no choice but to load up the cards.

Fights I would like to see that I truly believe will happen this calendar year:

      Whyte-povetkin
      Usyk-chisora
      Joshua-pulev
      Garcia-linares
      Canelo-golovkin 3
Vergil ortiz fighting for a world title
      Joshua-usyk
      Smith-Saunders
      Prograis-hooker
      Taylor-serrano

This summer is going to tell us a lot about the future of DAZN, starting mainly with the quality of feed.
Atlas and Kenny might actually be too much energy on one set.

As for my main complaint about DAZN: they haven't yet mastered the art of making an event feel big, feel like a huge PPV event. Quality of the opponent aside, Canelo's fights haven't felt like huge events ever since he has moved to DAZN. DAZN needs to work on the production quality.
On HBO, a little detail such as Max, Roy and Jim all wearing a tux for PPV cards helped set the tone.

So , in reality , you just started watching boxing ?
This is no knock on Dazn but felt the need to ask
Even better if he has just started watching boxing, RDS/TSN has been doing a really good job of broadcasting Showtime cards in the last 2 years or so.

Agree about the fact their cards dont feel like PPV events. They need to change up that ugly yellow color, need to have better lead up features to fights, and could desperately use a theme song like HBO had.

As of now if boxing(god willing) resumes in July, we may get:

            Whyte-povetkin
            Garcia-linares
            Usyk-chisora
            Joshua-pulev

            An italy or spain card.

Not a bad month at all if you ask me!

                Good:
                - Lots of fights
                - Decent price if you're on the annual plan

                Bad
                - Terrible announcers and production
                - Biased, agenda-driven commentary
                - Vast majority of the fights are mismatches...definitely a quantity over quality
                - Interviews of Eddie Hearn at every Matchroom show. Ridiculous.

Yes, absolutely. Everywhere from Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings to local bars and pubs. Even Dave and Buster's pretty regularly.

Generally the undercards before the main card are complete mismatches, I agree. They need to STOP showing fighters with losing records against their prospects. Save that for the untelevised portion.

                    Production is definitely poor.

                    Commentary can be biased.

Eddie hearn just needs to stop.

It's a good service and value for money

Is it perfect, naw but for what it costs you don't expect it to be.
