Does Golovkin have a bigger win than Canelo over Kovalev?

Absolutely. GGG beating a prime Jacobs was a much better win than Canelo beating a washed up 5 to 1 underdog Kovalev who sold his title. Canelo had a close fight wit Jacobs who was quite a bit better than the old passive Kovalev Canelo fought. Canelo never knocked jacobs down did he now? Boxing Scene scored Canelo vs Jacobs a draw.Comment

To be fair, beating a light heavyweight champ in your fifth division would represent one of the top wins on any fighter's resume. Only three other former jr welterweights in history have won titles at light heavyweight (all hall of famers), and among them only he and Thomas Hearns started at welterweight and won the belt at 175.
Btw, it was funny how GGG reversed dissed Canelo over his win over Jacobs by saying he found it as boring as a sparring session, basically saying he handled one of his toughest opponents like a sparring partner.Last edited by Caxcan; 04-02-2020, 06:29 PM.Comment

it must bother you that Canelos first defence eclipsed GGG's best win (in your opinion) of his entire career. Canelo beat him by more points.Absolutely. Of course.....that be a prime canelo. Kovalev was just a shell of his former self. That wet noodle of a jab and half arsed straight right he was throwing against canelo was sad to see. We're talking about a jab that had an ATG in Ward and a durable Pascal doing the booty dew. The Krusher that fought Pascal would've handled any version of canelo quite easily.Comment
