Staying away from drugs and alcohol is part of his success. I respect Floyd for his dedication to the sport of boxing. It's not easy to have that discipline, dedication and hunger for such a long time considering everything he accomplished during his career. Even when he didn't have a fight scheduled, he stayed in the gym and worked on his craft. He was always in shape and never let himself go. I don't care about his problem in his personal life, but when it comes to being an athlete, he's the definition of a great professional sportsman.

His dedication to the fight game in my opinion is the greatest ever. No distraction, major events or pending cases whether true or not kept him off his game. ALI is the TBE but everything he did after the Thrilla in Manila was terrible. Floyd was always in shape and sharp early middle and late career.
