Very entertaining fighter by the looks of it. That is the first time I've ever seen him fight.

The way he moves and punches bears a striking resemblance to a young Oscar De La Hoya back at 135 lbs. His jab, pretty much everything looks like De La Hoya, and it says he is from California. Does he have any of the same trainers that De La Hoya did at any point?

Vanes is a 2004 US Olympian.

He signed with TOP RANK and Bob Arum when he got back.
His manager is Shelly Finkel who has managed Klitchko brothers, Pacman, Tyson, Vargas, Lacy - www.ShellyFinkel.com

and his trainer is none other than Freddie Roach.

He has met DLH, who was quoted saying somethin similar to you "Vanes could be the next DLH"

we shall wait and see my friend.

Haha, he is totally a De La Hoya clone, except at a higher natural weight class. Don't let him get into that shoulder roll defense!! Make him keep his hands high throughout his career!!
