Comments Thread For: Whyte: Joshua Wasn't Serious About Rematch, Used Me as Scapegoat

Dillian Whyte believes Anthony Joshua never really wanted to face him in a rematch in 2019. The two sides were in serious talks in the early part of 2019, for a rematch clash on an April date in the UK. Joshua and his handlers had claimed Whyte overpriced himself, which led them to select Jarrell Miller as their opponent for a planned United States debut in June at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Being a scapegoat means being punished for the sins or offenses of others. You took the PEDs. You got caught twice using PEDs.
You, sir, are no scapegoat. Man up and quit whining.

Dillian Whyte throws this claim out there about everyone. I really hope Povetkin knocks him out and shuts him up.

Anyone who thinks AJ wanted Whyte for his US debut is a moron. You need a UK VS USA (Or USA based) fighter to make money. There is no doubt WHyte was offered a low price.
