He's still a boxing fan at heart, and by trying to bait vile promoters of this sport it's his way of trying to get rid of the poison that has turned the sweet science into the most corrupt combat sport of all time.

It's pathetic really. Two best fighters in a weightclass? Forget about seeing that fight. You wanna know who the top guy is amidst 5 world titles? Forget about unification, in your dreams. Two top guys in the whole sport and it's a fight that would generate huge money for everyone? Forget about it, maybe in a couple of years when they're both past their primes.

He said on Mannix’ podcast late last year, he was going to announce some boxing plans “in the next few weeks”. Those weeks have come and gone.

Dana has a history of saying ****** ****. How the **** is boxing going to die because of a virus? hes also obviously got a vested interest in pushing that kind of narrative considering his involvement with the UFC, which is getting hit just as hard as boxing is by this.

The OP might be talking out his ass though, He provided no link. If boxing were to suffer so would the UFC. Dana White best shot to tke over boxing is if the virus dies down he can buy out lot of these smaller promotions fighter contracts for cheaper. Just like he did with those MMA orgs he gobbled up ll the fighter contracts buying out Strikeforce, WEC, Pride.
