Charles Martin is the next IBF mandatory after Pulev, so he’s going to sit and wait for his massive payday.

Trevor Bryan has to fight Manuel Charr. Assuming he wins, he should be one of two (or three depending on what happens with Fres Oquendo) potential WBA mandatories for Joshua. He’s going to sit and wait for his massive payday if he beats Charr.

Jarrell Miller signed with Top Rank and will be fed bums until Arum can promote a Fury-Miller fight for the championship.

Assuming Deontay Wilder loses to Fury again, he won’t fight anyone worthwhile until he gets a mandatory shot at one of the titles... which isn’t that far off since the WBC has him no.1 and the WBA has him no. 2.

Andy Ruiz is going to take tune up fights until he gets a fight against Fury, Wilder or Joshua.

Michael Hunter is going to be given easier opponents after the Povetkin draw until he can be an American victim for Anthony Joshua.

Wilder vs Fury is a go , AJ has to fight Usyk after Pulev unless Fury wants it and everything else is speculation you posted .

What about Povetkin vs Whyte , Joyce vs DDD , even Usyk vs Chisora should interest everyone , Martin can’t hand pick anyone he has to fight whoever is appointed the next ranking so not sure why you continue to complain about the heavyweight division ? Kownacki was just knocked out and Wilder coming back would be interesting after 2 losses and seeing if he becomes a victim of the WBC mandatory game so how can you guys cry about nothing all the time ? Ha

I think mandatories are something that definitely need refining. The standard of some mandatories are absolutely disgraceful. It needs to be made harder to gain a mandatory position. The mandatory is supposed to be the top contender, are we really supposed to believe Charles Martin or Trevor Bryan are top contenders?
