Yh, prime for prime I'd go with Lewis but Bowe peaked earlier imho.
    Timing is key.

Bowe didn't duck Lewis. His Manager got too greedy and ****ed up the match. Then Lewis ****ed it up more by losing to McCall right as they were negotiating a fight.

If Bowe fought Lewis right after he fought Holyfield the first time, he probably would have been the favorite. Bowe's chin in the pro level definitely checked out and his inside game for a HW was unreal. Lewis proved to be the greater fighter, but at Bowe's best and pre-prime Lewis? Would have been a great, competitive bout. Missed opportunity for Bowe there.

The standing 8s were BS and that stoppage was BS.

Ref was garbage. Lennox was winning but still there was no need for the standing 8s or to stop it. Let them fight for *** sake.

Are we supposed to feel sorry for him now? His pro career is defined by his dump of WBC in the trash to avoid Lewis. Are we supposed to be doubly sorry for him now?

He was stripped of every belt he ever owned. Triply sorry for him now?

After securing a $100 mil contract with HBO, he's now as poor as a church mouse.

Went to Thailand to fight for the Muy Thai Heavy belt and beat up by a milquetoast 180 lber...BooHooHoo déjà vu all over again?

            Cue in the clown show!

Bowe was afraid of Lewis. He pissed himself at the mere thought of confronting him in the ring. End of story.

Stoppage looked early to me but Bowe was clearly getting hurt.

I think that Bowe seemed to adjust to the pros a bit quicker than Lennox so the earlier the fight took place the more I like his chances.

Throwing the belt hurts him badly though. You can't do that.
Yeah good point, had the rematch happened early 90’s Bowe would have had a much better chance. Mid to late 90’s Lennox would’ve been a much tougher task.

Yeah I agree, had it happened in 93-94 Bowe would have given Lennox hell if he got on the inside. Lennox wasn’t the dominant force he later became at that point as well.
