I picked Parker to beat him, thought Rivas had a good shot and despite him proving me wrong twice I still wouldn't put money on him beating Povetkin.

For me, he gets credit for taking such fights when he could quite easily sit on his mandatory or keep busy with a bunch of soup cans.

I also find him quite humorous but each to his own on that score.

Parker is his only notable win against a top 10 ranked opponent going off TBRB. His resume is decent but it’s nothing special.

My main issue is he refused two eliminators, so how can he complain about not getting a shot. Lennox Lewis, Vitali Klitschko even Wilder himself had to fight an eliminator what makes Whyte think he’s any different.

He’s a massive hypocrite and drug cheat. I have zero respect for the guy.

The Ortiz eliminator was for a "second mandatory" behind lower ranked fighters as opposed to a final eliminator so I can see why he'd take issue there. In addition, he offered Ortiz a PPV fight which Ortiz refused, opting to fight Razvan Cojanu (?) on Wilder's undercard.

The recent UKAD situation was for an adverse finding as opposed to a failed test. He also passed VADA/CBP protocol and would have had to produce evidence to support his explanation to UKAD.
The JACK3D situation was unfortunate not just for Whyte but for athletes across various sports.

I do think he should have taken the June 1st fight with Joshua though.

He tested positive for D-Bol, I don’t know how educated you are on PED’s but D-Bol can leave your system within 4-6 hours so the other VADA tests prove NOTHING. Your body also cannot naturally produce D-Bol so he must have ingested it. A trace amount is still a fail and is extremely common when athletes are cycling on and off.
He is unquestionably GUILTY of cheating. He’s literally been caught TWICE.

If he really wanted a title shot he would have taken the AJ fight, taken the Ortiz fight or taken the Pulev fight which he rejected due to the location. Yet he claims he’s the one being avoided when he’s been presented with various opportunities.

I'm not the most clued up on PEDS but I have read that D Bol stays in the system anywhere from the 4-6 hrs in your post up to 6 months.
I also have to say that I haven't heard of many athletes popping for it, it seems to be more of a bodybuilding thing in my admittedly limited experience.

Yeah it’s very common in body building doping, as it’s one of the most accessible PED’s. It’s pretty popular across a lot of fields though, from shot putters to decathlon athletes, even sprinters, I remember a lot of the Indian sprinters were caught using D-Bol in the run up to London 2012, in athletics it is usually categorised as Metandienone as Dianabol is essentially just the brand name.

If used correctly it would be beneficial for any athlete, as it’s a testosterone derived anabolic, so it would increase protein synthesis and speed up the process of your body breaking down glucose (glycolysis). So it will essentially make you faster, stronger and provide you with increased energy.
