I like this fight and hope it gets made. Berchelt is a monster and possibly the most overlooked fighter in Top Rank’s stable. Arum needs to wake up and make this guy a star! Get him some exposure by putting this on regular ESPN, no ESPN+ crap, and have it down in Mexico while all the other sports leagues are suspended - since Lopez Obrador doesn’t seem to be taking this whole Coronavirus thing all that seriously.

Valdez has been missing his explosiveness in the ring since the jaw injury. The Valdez that fought Quigg has not been a Valdez we've seen since. I think this fight ends badly for Oscar. Some guys just need to war, to win fights in the manner they know how. Like Arturo Gatti, Jorge Arce, etc. And I believe Valdez is the same. His new corner crew put a stop to that, maybe the Quigg fight itself did too. But Berchelt is a punisher to the highest degree!

Why? I love watching the all Mexican fights but hate the fact that they will end up damaged goods and ready for some mediocre fighter to enjoy the fruition of their careers. That's how it goes and the Mexicans will get paid peanuts. Hate it!!!

If Berchelt comes healthy and well trained as usual, he can KO Valdez in a classic mexican war...

This is going to be a helluva fun of a fight.

This is the news we want to read everyday and that is refreshing. I want to see If all the Reynoso training prepare Oscar Valdez against a big and punisher in Miguel Berchelt.

                    Ouch!

I like Valdez but I think he's too undersized for Berchelt. War Valdez, if it happens. Not sure Arum would make it for another while.
