    Mt Rushmore of boxing.

This has likely been asked before so I’m gonna do it a little differently in having a boxers and non-boxers version. Guys who both fought and then became trainers, promoters etc are eligible for both.

    Boxers.
    Muhammad Ali
    Sugar Ray Robinson
    Sugar Ray Leonard
    Henry Armstrong.

    Non-Boxers.
    Eddie Futch
    Angelo Dundee
    Bob Arum
    Don King.

    John L Sullivan
    Jack Johnson
    Sugar Ray Robinson
    Muhammad Ali

Tracing a path from the roots of boxing to modern times. First guy to fight with speed and skill rather than brute strength. Sullivan as the bridge from bare knuckle to gloves. Johnson for beating the colour bar. Robinson maybe the best ever and Ali the greatest figure Boxing has produced.

    John Broughton
    John Chambers
    George Rickard
    Nat Fleischer
    Angelo Dundee

The guys who made the rules that brought boxing to the modern age. The first legendary promoter, the founder of Ring and Hall of Fame and the legendary trainer.

Too many to narrow down to just four.
