So you're suggesting that Arum was putting out an offer that was totally out of whack for what the fight was worth? That seems odd. More likely if the money is there for the fight then it will be there later too. Hey listen, I am totally open to the idea that Mayweather is ducking Margarito. Let it actually be proven and I'll agree. Not making the fight after the first try is not ducking.

Arum was able to make that type of offer because Margarito was only getting 1 million. If Margarito gets a bigger fan base and beats some good names, even that alone won't set up a fight where Floyd somehow gets more than 8 million dollers without Arum giving him some type of offer like he gave to Floyd this year.
