I wonder which Lara shows up but if he comes to fight, he’s getting KTFO at this point..

I like the offensive Lara better but he should go back to boxing and using his legs if possible. Box but make charlo pay with hard shots.

Lara looks to be slowing down and has taken punishment in his recent notable fights... outside looking in, he looks ripe to get caught and stopped soon. But he's shown a lot of toughness as he's slowed down, he's been in a couple of real wars now and held up, so I could be off there.

I wonder if it's clicking in his head that it could be his last shot...for as many times that he's been a foil for others, he doesn't have really have the career defining win on his official record. He's got the P Williams fight but not an official W.....then Angulo and Trout? This fight would be great

Anyway, it's yet another fight where Lara can cause problems. If he really wants to put a stamp on his career this is a good fight because I think Charlo is a guy who he can beat

As for Jermell - he needs to get back on his jab, not sure where that's gone. Thought it was his #1 weapon when he was using it

Huge fan of both but I’ve been a fan of Lara longer. If Lara isn’t shot he might be able to outbox Jermell.

Lara needs to put on a clinic doe. Going to the cards with Jermell is risky business.

I dont like this matchup for Jermell...I think the Tony Harrison fights exposed that Jermell has issues with safety/defense-first fighters.

Jermell won the first fight with Harrison, and was robbed by su****ious judging. Still, Harrison was able to lure Jermell into a actionless staring contest for most of the fight. except the moments when Jermell rocked him.

The second fight, Jermell is LEGITIMATELY losing...not only has Harrison lured him into a ranged posing contest again, but he's actually throwing punches this time, and dominating any inside exchanges with Jermell. Jermell absolutely needed that late knockout to win.

Which brings us to Lara. If Harrison was hard to get to, Lara will be nearly impossible . I can see Lara biking it around the ring, and tagging a frustrated Jermell.

I can see Jermell knocking him out too, but I don't think this fight is worth the risk.

I like this fight. I kind feel like jermell waited till lara was old and slowing down to fight him, but I still think Lara has enough to be a significant threat. Now only if we can get jermall to step up and fight dervychenko. Guy is ranked 1 by the WBC, Which is the title that jermall owns, and he's under the same umbrella. Maybe he's not old enough yet.

This is one of the most obvious setups by bros. for life, Haymon and Shields. Even though Shields and Lara split, Lara, at this stage of his career, will listen to anything Haymon begs (or ''consults'') him to do to keep PBC rotations relevant. Lara will get a Million+ to take a dive for Jermell, to give him that favor. This is Haymon to Lara, ''Look this is a business...we've always worked close with trust... Truth is, the network doesn't want to put you on. They literally said they have more interest in Jermell. Lara's gotten a bit long at the tooth over the years, eh? I was never a big Lara fan anyway, so, hopefully Jermell gets him outta there so I don't have to see him face top names anymore.

Lara's a hard-luck fighter with a lot of talent, but he usually plays it safe and doesn't do enough in big fights...then cries about being robbed.

Yeah this is a cool fight, guess we can't too excited at the moment but if all goes well maybe July or August? Would love to see Charlo tested against someone like Lara but not sure how much Lara has left.
