A lot of people forget how big of an underdog Mosley was. Margarito was a 1/5 favourite that night. Margarito by stoppage was also odds on.

Mosley fought a Margarito who hadn’t yet been humbled and stopped him. Pacquiao fought a Margarito who had been destroyed physically and mentally and went the distance. History is already getting it wrong here.

Margarito might have been huge but he was coming off a layoff and a bs comeback fight.

People thought Shane was gonna get murdered that night. He just destroyed Cotto who beat Shane

It was.... I get it Floyd has boring fights etc. But come on nobody thought Floyd would walk Canelo down. That wasn't the same type of cautious performance he had vs Manny.

You can judge how a Floyd fight by how long the highlights video is lmao imo

Clay-Liston 1 was one I considered putting in my top 3. People expected Liston to murder him. I think Liston was listed as a 1/8 favourite that night.

Going into the fight, I did expect Floyd to outbox him quite clearly largely due to the fact I was not convinced Canelo was an elite fighter but in hindsight we now know just how great Canelo is, so it has to be regarded as a great performance.
