Josh was getting sick and tired at all of the excuses from Stevenson. Stevenson said before he'd even fought for the title he was ready for Josh, only to then claim he needed more experience before taking the fight. Then he did the usual American duck shlt by asking for more money than Arum had offered. This is the same story every time. So Josh doesn't need to waste time on North American punanies when there's a willing champ in Can ready to go.

And the deal was to fight in England. Stevenson even claimed he'd travel. No one had yet talked about the fight being in the states. But it would have got to that in order for Stevenson to keep ducking the fight.

I'm glad I don't have to sit through the years of shlt talking from Stevenson and the asylum in their claiming that Josh is the one ducking when all the facts are there to see. Just like it was for AJ/Wilder. Just like it is for all the lies they've said about British fighters over the years when it's their guys doing the running.

Not true. Josh has voiced that he wants to fight in the states. But it has to be a worthy opponent and not for less than he's getting paid now. No fighter travels for less than they get for fighting at home.

Fighters occasionally do travel to fight for less money, particularly to the US, if it means greater exposure and a better chance to make that jump from local hero to global superstar. Short term loss but massive long term again.

To be fair I know Josh wants to fight in the US, his dad has way too much input into his career and loves the sound of his own voice, he gives the impression he’s the main attraction and not the fighter. Watch the documentary Fighting For a City, it’s an eye opener.

Will most likely be a FOTY candidate. However, I'm having a difficult time imagining a Xu victory. He has a tremendous output, but doesn't pack much power. He isn't particularly fast or fleet-footed, doesn't utilize his jab enough and his style doesn't take advantage of his height/reach. As long as Warrington doesn't take him lightly, he should win.

Fighters get exposure at home. In fact, they get more exposure in the world due to the times of Europe and elsewhere. No one cares if the fight is in the US. It doesn't add anything with their shlt atmospheres and only a few thousand people there. Not only that, but many fighters get their biggest payday in the UK and not the US. Usyk, Loma, Tszyu, Lacy, Herring, Prograis etc etc...

But which fighters are ****** enough to give up an advantage and travel for less money than they get at home with not a single benefit from travelling? Name them?
