Look around. There is no boxing going on it’s all cancelled. That’s why these articles are happening. Their is no boxing to go back to.

There’s plenty to write about however they chose the musings of a boxer that’s been long dead. Why do I care what a dead boxer thinks about Covid 19? Was Ali a top scientist? Was he a doctor? Why tf would you embellish upon something that’ll never happen and truly if he was alive no one would give an Eff. Just like actors and actresses today talking politics. Just shut up and act. Isn't this already covered in the second paragraph of the article?

I think the point is: he was someone that people listened to. And we need someone with leadership, wisdom and calm who is not driven by self-interest that people will listen to.

As you say there is plenty to write about, but this is a boxing website. Theories on furin, cytokine storms and intermembrane-cleaving proteases are not going to tickle the interest of the target audience.
