Apart from Holyfield, who did Bowe beat? Golota destroyed him. He ducked Lennox. He didn't fight Tyson.

The era had Micheal Grant, Mercer, Ruddock, Bruno, McCall, Moorer, Tony Tucker, etc. But he somehow ducked all of them.

He was only able to beat Holyfield because Holyfield wasn't a big puncher but he ducked everyone else. Bowe would've ducked AJ as well because he knows he would get killed in the ring with that zero defence. You can't block big punches with your face against big punchers, hence he ducked everyone who could punch, except Golota who ended up ruining him.

He knocks out Wilder and Joshua. The Fury fight would be close but I would pick Bowe at this point.

Bowe was special for a very short amount of time. He's the only fighter I can remember with a shorter prime than Tyson lol.

I think the question was basically would Bowe at his best compete with today's heavyweights and the answer has to be absolutely!

Keep in mind the Bowe that fought Golota was shot to ****. His lack of discipline in between fights eventually caught up to him and the reliance on his chin meant his punch resistance eventually started declining.

I may be an idiot but give me any win better than the two Holyfield wins including the knockout.Let him define himself with a couple career defining victories.Your a typical nut hugger comparing fighter from a separate time and your guy has nothing better than Bowes best wins over a prime Holyfield. Then Bowes last two fights of his career you want to hang him with. But you won’t accept criticism of AJ losing in his prime vs a fat slob along with a mental break down. You are going to find out like the Wilder nut huggers that when it’s done and over that was a lot of man chowder you ingested for nothing

Bowe was so hot and cold it is hard to tell but IF he showed up the guy who fought holy the first time he beats all 3 he would have the toughest time with fury. But that's a big IF bowe was so inconsistent it wasnt funny and really had one night that head to head that version I would have a hard time picking any heavyweight ever to beat . But again that was one night

That being said bowe beats them all assuming this is prime for prime

Edit : after careful thought I think fury bowe would be a pick em fight . Fury could def win the fight

Bowe is overrated. He gets knocked out here, except he would beat Wilder though.

He probably beats Wilder because Wilder is a bum.
He said prime Bowe. I think he was a little past it by the time Golota came around. I hope you're not just using boxrec as your argument lol

Fcck out of here with the overrated Bowe that got his career ended by Golota who wasn't even that good.
As I stated in my previous post bowe had 1 night where he reached his full potential other than that he was his own worst enemy . And that counts for something he ruined what could have been a phenomenal career. But going off the post prime for prime bowe in holy 1 would beat or be a tough out for any heavyweight who ever lived . Was he an ATG .....no . Because he **** it all away . But going by the thread title a prime bowe ( again 1 or 2 fights ) imho would beat AJ , wilder or fury . Fury would be a tough out for him tho . This is all hypothetical but if u watch bowe holy 1 and tell me he wasnt special then to each their own agree to disagree . We are all entitled to our opinions .

He knocks out Wilder and Jousha on the same night loses to Fury

Iam not saying that bowe had an all time career . I agree he didnt , but he has a great trilogy with holy that he won 2 of one by KO . And he has soem other decent wins over former belt holders etc ( which is nothing to brag about ) . His career was def more accomplished than wilder or joshua so far imo . But thay aside ( careets not relevant really to the topic ) the thread title says rid**** bowe vs todsys heavies . So you would assume as with any mythical matchup ( unless stated otherwise ) that its prime for prime . A peak bowe would def be in the holyfield 1 fight . And I would say no one could confidently say that wilder ,or joshua would beat the bowe that fought holy the first time . That's all iam stating . Bowe could def lose to either one of the top 3 today but I would bet the house the odds would be in bowes favour for AJ and wilder . I would love to see any of those fights. Wilder would get beat up and stopped . Joshua would get out jabbed and decisioned or stopped although he would have a good chance to give his all to take bowe out as bowe would stand infront of him inside and his defence was def not the best . Fury would give bowe problems . This fight is pretty tough to call imo . It would be very close . That's a 50/50 fight .
