The whole world is at a standstill right now, and probably for the next few months. Boxing is the least of our worries. The COVID-19 pandemic is a threat to everything we know. Believe that. This challenge has only just started. No telling where it will go. God be with us.

I keep reading this fight or that fight is called of for a month or two. that makes no sense to me. The virus will have infected many more people in a month or two not less. right now there are very few people sick where i live and i feel safe going into town. as more people get it and spread it i will stay home as much as possible and stay away from people. I don't think Canelo vs Saunders will happen for a long time.

Unless boxing goes to the studio/no audience format, it is going to be a while before it returns.

Unfortunately the top fighters will all refuse to fight without fans imho because they wanna maximize each time they fight & if they do fight someone I very much doubt it'll be a top v top fighter more likely a D level vs A level , glorified sparring match(granted I wouldn't complain as anything's better than nothing)

They are currently working on a virtual reality sport spectator program, where u basically pay for your ticket and are allocated a 'virtual seat' which you can access via a web connected headset and watch the sport, sounds good to me
