Either italians are weak or its some kind of syndrome and people are caught up in the pandemic. Theres no way Italians are dirtier to the Chinese to get that sick.

I think it comes down to 1) Italy having the oldest population in Europe; 2) Italy having a rather poor healthcare system; 3) Italy getting overwhelmed by the number of cases/infections, all at once...they also got hit with the earliest in flow after China basically, so they were kind of a guinea pig unfortunately.

Their death rate has been about 10% the last week...Germany's is less than 1% as a comparable...northern Italy, where all the infections are, also has a huge Chinese-Italian population, who were brought in to take over the manufacturing there at a low cost.

The Chinese came back home after Chinese New Year in China, and just dropped a bomb on the Italians really...sad, hopefully this will end soon.

When the flu has been more lethal for a long, long time, (fact) it makes this an overreaction. Nobody acts like the world is on the verge of ending due to the flu. You don't have agree, though. Take your well wishes that I gave to you and your 'neighbors' and move on.
