Ruiz's plan was to take Joshua's hardest punches and fire back. That was it and it worked because he has a great chin and has fast hands.

It's hard to see another fighter taking the shots Ruiz took in the first fight. Not to mention than AJ boxed pretty badly that night and without caution.

The only blueprint to beat AJ is the same as there as always been - hit him on his poor chin. For example if I was Wilder I would just go for it - go for the knockout, throw caution to the wind. Forget about boxing AJ.

And what happens when Josh hits Wilder’s glass chin and glass body, idiot?

Wilder would only dream about having Josh’s chin.

There was no blueprint needed. He wasn't that good to begin with....

I dunno about that one. I'm no wilder fan but the onslaught he took from Ortiz I can't see Joshua taking that and staying up. Ruiz is super quick but fury hits harder than Ruiz so does Ortiz.. and fury isn't slow himself. People really ignore the fact Fury never looked For KO he boxed of his backfoot a lot.

What onslaught, clown? And when did Ortiz become a big puncher?

He took at least 5 hammer right from Wlad who’s a bigger puncher than Wilder and still won by KO. Wilder got absolutely destroyed by stiff jabs from Fury. If Wlad had hit Wilder with one of those hammer punches, he’d still be in a coma right now.

You are crazy, Wilder has a way better chin than Joshua.

Wilder is also great at landing his hard punches. Even in the 2nd Fury fight he landed some right hands that on another night could have put Fury down. Fury is meant to be the most elusive boxer in the division, and Wilder one of the poorest boxers - but in both fights Wilder landed his punches

I do think Joshua wins that fight but I think it's 60/40 in favour of Joshua until we know better. E.g. until Wilder fights more decent fighters and we really find out how good he is

Easy question, obviously Ruiz didn't come in trained and prepared to fight. He may have lost anyway, but a real fight didn't occur in the rematch, because he "didn't show up".

It's not AJ's fault though. If/when Ruiz gets back in real shape, do you think AJ would fight him?

I agree with Roberto Vasquez, I'm not sure many can match what Ruiz did to Joshua ... but Fury would be one that potentially could. Fury has such a reach advantage that he doesn't need to get inside as much as Ruiz did (Fury 85" - Ruiz 74"). Ruiz ability to take a really good punch is amazing ... and he fights best in a war trading. Not many do.

If Fury is trained to a hardbody with stamina to attack hard for seven rounds (like the Wilder fight), the question would be, can he take AJ's response (attack).

If the Wlad fight is an indication, I think Fury can take it, and he probably does what Ruiz did to AJ. However, it's all conjecture until they are trading in the ring. A very interesting fight ...
