    Is Ike's real record 40-1?

His only true loss is Vargas?

welllll, if he lost to Vargas that does technically equal 2 losses for the price of one.

In my opinion I thought he beat De La Hoya but Oscar winning by SD wasnt out of the question. It was a very close fight and could have gone either way, but I did think Quartey won that fight.

I thought Quarety did enought to beat Lopez in the fight that was ruled a draw. And I thought Quartey deffinately did enought to beat Forrest.

I do agree that his only legit loss was to Vargas in what was a great fight. Its sad because Quartey would have a great record with good wins over De La Hoya and Forrest but he cant catch a break.

I think De La Hoya pulled it out in the 12th,KD IKE and almost, almost knocking Ike out,in what was a very close fight.

^whatever your opininon of that fight,I dont think anybody can call it a robbery, it was very close.

As far as the Forrest fight though,I thought it was all ike outside of no more than 4 rounds for forrest.

If you wanna discuss Oscar vs. Quartey, you have to at least say how many rounds you thought Quartey won

I believe Quartey beat DLH. He had Oscar looking like **** after the fight and he also never gave homeboy a rematch. He wanted nothing to do with Quartey afterwards.

I though Ike won 7 rounds of the fight, including the 6th round in which he recovered almost instantly from the flash KD and dropped Oscar himself. He had Oscar reeling. I remember Oscar missing a lot more than people think too. A few of his combinations he would try were very unsuccessful, they'd just look pretty. I almost feel like the 12th round wiped out everything Quartey had done previous to that. I had Quartey winning by a point.

I thought Ike won this Forrest fight much easier than he did that DLH fight. He was ahead on points going into the 12th, and then he came out and won that round as well as Forrest landed nothing memorable in that round to give him the nod.

I had Quartey winning the fight against DLH as well as Saturday nights fight. Vargas IMO beat him convincingly.
