I'm inclined to agree with Haye. Pulev will be 39 when he faces Joshua. He has less than a 50% KO ratio, so AJ likely won't fear his punching power. Joshua needs to make people believe that he is still a dangerous fighter and champion.

Lennox boxed an erratic puncher with the appropriate amount of caution. There was no precedent for what was going on so he was unsure how to approach Oliver while continuing to do everything he needed to ensure victory. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either ****** or simply doesn’t understand the sport.
And the AJ you’re referring to doesn’t exist anymore. It was knocked out of him. He’s a shell of his former self.
Here are some of my accomplishments since I’ve been here:
Warned you all about Jeison Rosario.
Told everyone exactly how Fury would win.
Picked the knockout round in Carroll-Quigg
Picked the knockout round in Helenius-Kownacki
Give me one thing you’ve done in all your time here that even approaches one of those accomplishments. I doubt you can because I remember all the rejects and believe me, you’re on that list.Comment

I’m the guy with the hot hand. When I’m not on the road I’ll consider giving you a reason as to why I believe what I do. Probably not though as I’m noticing when I get someone cornered, a nobody like yourself arrives as backup to divert my attention. Su****ious, that.Comment

Do you stand outside the buildings of successful people with your garbage bag vest and cardboard sign saying everyone is a low IQ muppet? Because I’m betting you do.Comment

Joshua is always vulnerable when he tries to blast someone out. The main reason he lost to Ruiz the first time was the pressure to equal what Wilder had done to Breazeale. He put caution to the wind and got very close to Ruiz.
He had the same issue with Whyte when he got stunned for a round or 2.
Joshua should try to knock Pulev out but in a sensible managed way
