the PPV sales from Canelo vs GGG 1 & 2 combined don't even equate to the # of ppv sales from May-Pac. I'm not even sure if they equate to AT LEAST HALF of what May-Pac did.

      Let that settle in...

Nahhhh, it has been built well, it was a big big fight and it was a great fight but canelo GGG 1 was not on that level. It happened way too late but the magnitude of that Floyd Pacquiao Fight was monstrous.

          normies were talking about mayweather-pac

in fact, Mayweather-McGreggor was bigger than Canelo-GGG 1 and 2 combined, by a long shot.

Normies were talking about that fight for a while too.

most random people have no idea who canelo or GGG are. They might have heard of canelo but then definately no idea who GGG is

The Mcgregor and Floyd did big numbers but that was an anomaly.

Mcgregor is literally one of the most famous athletes of all time, and he just so happened to also participate in combat sports. Not to mention he used to be one of the greatest trash talkers I’ve ever seen.
(Used to, because he don’t got it like that anymore)

If you took Drake and put him in a boxing match with say Justin Bieber, and charged PPV for it, it would do like 2-3M based off their celebrity.

But as far as actual boxers with competition between both?
                  Ain’t nobody surpassing May-Pac.
                  Never.
