Comments Thread For: Teddy Atlas: Fury Bullied The Bully, Wilder Didn't Get His Way

Veteran trainer Teddy Atlas believes Tyson Fury used the old boxing logic of 'bully the bully' when he squared off with Deontay Wilder in their rematch, last month at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Fury came forward and let his hands go, taking the fight to Wilder from the first round. Wilder was dropped twice and stopped in the seventh round.

That "I only have to be perfect for 2 seconds" thing, came to bite him in the backside. You can do that to low level HW who hasn't proven much like Ortiz but when you are in there against a guy with the size and ring IQ advantage then you cannot expect to bully them in the same way.

I want to see Wilder against Usyk. Fury had physical advantages over Wilder. Usyk won't have them. Will be fun to see if Wilder can pull his 2 second trick off against Usyk - a pure puncher vs boxer case.

Teddy of course Wilder didn’t get his own way. He wanted to be carried out of the ring in a stretcher and buried in Alabama with his suit on

Teddy doesn't have a clue. It was a conspiracy between that idiotic Costume, Dirrell, and Breland.

Lol.. Fury is a cheater. We all saw Ricky Hatton pull Furys left glove down in the first Wilder fight.. Furys been caught using Steriods.. And was saw those wierd punches he thru at Wilder the Second fight.. Its funny how Otto Wallin can go 12 rds with Fury.. An get nothing but a black eye.. But vs Wilder 2 wilder has unnatural lumps and was cut inside the ear and bleeding out the lip in 2rds!!! Even though Fury was a year older, and fatter, but he was also stronger and seemed to be Faster! We know he cheated!!! His A Sample was dirty!! All u that support this drug cheating fool has a secret agenda. An I don't care if u think he was slapping Wilder.. His hand wasn't all the way in his glove.. Palm strikes are illegal. Period. He dipped his knuckles in petro?? Family is bare knuckle fighters.. Wtf.. He's masterbating 7 times a day!!.. Lol. *** this.. This fool cheated! No respect! An *** these fake azz Americans that supported a cheating foreigner an booed your own fighter at the weigh in! Which is why they don't care that Fury Cheated.. They just wanted Wilder to lose! I hope Fury gets a 8 year suspension! hes lying saying he ate Wild uncastrated boar!!! Yea right.. Made that poor farmer lie for u.. Then u didn't even pay the man! Smh! If Fury ate Wild Boar.. Then that's cannibalism! Lol

It's because Fury was a fireman, Teddy.. A FIREMAN! The heat didn't bother him.. HE LIVED IN THE HEAT! Flames didn't intimidate Tyson - what did he do? HE CONTROLLED THE FLAMES, TEDDY! AND THEN HE EXTINGUISHED THEM! It was that easy.

Teddy, who usually is the first to call out cheating has grown soft on boxing's corruption ever since he's gotten more TV gigs.

Lost a lot of respect for Teddy after he claimed Mike Tyson had never been in a real fight and won. Now Stephen A Smith and others always say that Teddy is a Hall of Fame Coach, but I'm seriously trying to figure out how, and who has he coached/groomed to success ?

He was Cust d'amato's towel boy, so we know he doesn't get any credit for grooming Tyson, almost got the Nail killed vs Beterbiev, and had no succes with Tim Bradley, instead resorted to telling some silly fireman story in the corner. SMH
