    Devin Haney...

What am I not seeing? What's the rush?

If I saw otherworldly skills and attributes, like I see in Davis for example, I'd be pushing him hard. I don't. Why is Hearn rushing him? He's not ready for Davis or Loma, not even close. I can see him beating the rest. Get to them one by one. Put in the time.

I'll get back to Haney in a few years.

Let him clean up your bums first, Hearn, like Campbell and Crolla.

I kind of agree tbh man, he’s unquestionably very talented but I don’t see him as a guy you should just throw to the wolves. His best win is probably beating whatever was left of Juan Carlos Burgos. Talking about him facing Loma next is absolute lunacy IMO.

I like the idea of Haney facing Ryan Garcia, I think the winner of Campbell/Fortuna would be a solid test also.

As for Tank, I was really impressed with the way he beat Pedraza and then I was actually at his next fight where he destroyed Liam Walsh, however if anything he’s gone backwards, his opposition has been lacklustre and he didn’t exactly make a huge statement against a 38 yr old Gamboa. Tank is a guy who I think is ready to be thrown to the wolves so we can find out how good he actually is. I like the LSC fight, especially if it’s at 130.

Not every fighter is managed like yours. Your guy could have fought Loma already.

I respect all that. I was gonna ask you about the rumored Cruz fight. You've already answered. How much of a chance do you give Cruz, at 130?

What I am talking about with Haney is readiness for the elite. I don't see it yet. I'll keep watching him the next few years.

I wanted Davis to be thrown to the wolves (Loma) since 2016/2017, when Davis was 21/22, your boys here know. I don't get involved in the politics of boxing. Davis is at a different level.

Teofimo, Haney and Garcia seem to want the big fights soon. That's ok, they are guys that in a few years will be campaigning at 147. They need to accomplish things at 135.

                Davis doesn't have a future outside 135 I think. He's too small for 147.

Besides that possible explanation, there's another one. In boxing, historically, once you are a world champion, you are ready to fight any other world champion. Haney won't be thrown to the wolves anyway, I think. Specially not after coming off shoulder injury.

Lopez and Loma are supposed to be fighting. Hopefully Davis fights a good lightweight, even a tough journeyman at least, instead of Cruz next.

I'd say Gervonta's ceiling is welter. 135 or 140 would be his best weights. He can fight at 130 now, if he dedicated himself. He's destructive at 130.
