    Undisputed heavyweight

Based on the likelyhood Fury beats AJ...what do you people think about Tyson Fury becoming undisputed? My thoughts are this. Knowing Fury it's likely that he will retire. If Wilder takes the step aside for a guaranteed shot at the winner...Fury doesn't have to fight him he just can't fight anybody else. And if Fury retires the belts will get split amongst mandatories leaving Fury to claim to be the only undisputed of his era. That's why they need Wilder/Fury 3 first. Once the belts get split that's the end of the big money payouts. As evidenced by Andy Ruiz who got about a third of AJ money as the champion...unless you are the big 3...you aren't getting paid no matter how many belts you have.

Fury essentially is undisputed. AJ only has the belts Fury never lost in the ring. I still wanna see Fury vs AJ cause it’s a huge fight but the undisputed BS is just a selling a point for the casuals. We all know Fury is the undisputed #1 Heavyweight in the world. The corrupt ABC belts don’t mean sh** to me, I just wanna see the best fight the best like we got with Fury-Wilder 2.

Didn’t you see the Wilder loss to Fury ? He doesn’t need
Wilder at all. The likelihood is AJ actually wins undisputed and Wilder ducked that fight, regardless side step money has nothing to do with if Undisputed will happen because that fight would be in December.

I think it'd be the first time undisputed was ever resolved by two UK HWs adding to Tyson's historical accolades.

Off the top of my head:

First UK Undisputed to be crowned undisputed against another UK HW, presumably in the UK.

First X2 Ring Mage Champion? ( I never verified, but it is some **** he said right?)

This one's a bit silly but true:

Wlad v Tyson was the first ever HW title fight to feature both a champion and challenger who had previously punched themselves in the face.

2nd unbeaten HW champion in gloved boxing history.

First man to win all four titles under any circumstances since Lennox.

First man to split ring and lineal and reunify them.

            Plus:

            BBBoC English heavyweight title (x2)
            Commonwealth Boxing Council heavyweight title
            BBBoC British heavyweight title (x2)
            Irish heavyweight title
            WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight title (x2)
            WBO International heavyweight title
            IBO World heavyweight title
            EBU heavyweight title
            WBC Mayan heavyweight title

I think you’re right on every statement apart from Lennox. He never fought for or held the WBO.

Didn’t Ali also hold the ring title twice? I’m not sure but I heard John Fury say only Tyson and Ali have done it. He might have his wires crossed though.

              HUGE fight regardless...

Genuinely..... it will not mean anything as I've thought Fury beats Joshua for years, and Joshua went and ****ed it up by getting battered around a ring by a fat Mexican.

Means nothing...... no where near winning the titles off Klitschko in Germany.

Fury is definitely primed for ATG status.
