Comments Thread For: Chisora Warns Usyk: I Will Get Revenge For My Boy, Bellew!

Derek Chisora is looking for a measure of revenge, when he faces former undisputed cruiserweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk at the O2 Arena in London on May 23. Before Usyk made a decision to move up in weight to the heavyweight ranks, he blasted out Tony Bellew in brutal fashion in November 2018.

I honestly think Corona will stop all these upcoming matchroom events happening, Don’t expect to see any of them.

Olek Usyk is doing the sport of boxing a great favor, cleaning up the HW division from these overrated and overpaid English BUMS! May 23 could not get here any sooner.

Usyk is undefeated in the UK : Joe Joyce got schooled at York Hall, in the World Series of Boxing. Tony Bellew was brutally KO and retired for good at Manchester ( good riddance ) ; now this old punching-bag 'Del-Boy' Dereck Chisora is getting it next at the O2.

Is there anyone in the UK that can stop the former undisputed cruiserweight slick southpaw?

This is a very good test for Usyk, Chisora is the sort of style that you need as a contender at the HW division. If you don't fight a style like that then you would get found out later on in your career.

We have 5 or 6 who can beat him, I don't think there are any American Heavyweights who can though.

I'm quite sure Chisora will beat him, Usik didn't impress in his heavyweight debut and was fighting a retired nobody whose eyes point in opposite directions.

I wonder what costume Usyk will wear on his ringwalk.

Chisora is not bum. This is legit good match up. I want to see how Usyk handles 300 lbs guys. You can only run so much, unless you possess HW power.

I think most Usyk HW fights will follow the same scenario. He will wear down his opponents and stop them late. Only HWs with exceptional stamina will be spared the stoppage and will lose a decision. Usyk has enough power to stop an exhausted opponent (and there's quitting, corner throwing in the towel and referee stoppages as well).

Please share with us your rankings of these English bums that you believe beat Usyk.

I would be laughing hysterically if Olek came out dressed as a tooth-brush.
