Wilder has a tough decision to make in the 3rd fight

I've thought the same thing before myself, seems like the perfect path forward for Wilder, gives him time to work on things, make adjustments, get his confidence back, plus he'd be doing the boxing world a solid.

Not sure his management sees it the same, or maybe they can't make a deal with TR. As it is Bob will be getting his slice of Fury v Wilder 3 and Joshua v Pulev, so maybe Bob doesn't see the sense in paying massive money to Wilder when he can just wait 6 months for the same fight and pay nothing, bit risky though.

I am fairly sure Bob Arum will want to make a deal... he just lost money on Fury Wilder 2.

He would get step aside money from Eddie Hearn and he knows that all around, there is far more money to be made by everyone, especially for Team Wilder.

If Haymon and company start using their brain, they will realize that taking a step aside fee is far far far far better for everyone, especially Wilder.

come in light (215-220) lb, his usual weight and have quicker speed and footwork, however Tyson probably going to come in at 270 again will probably mean he will get bullied by Tyson again inside and in the clinch

if he comes in heavy again at 230 he wont be bullied as much but will be slower...

Wilder should pick a solid 225 in the middle.

Work on his wreslting by hiring a wrestling coach, I'm serious about it, Bud, Loma and Ward have wrestling background.
They are the best fighters of the last 6/7 years for a reason.

It makes your body stronger, your stamina deeper, your upper boddy more flexible and your neck stronger.

In a perfect world, what Wilder truly needs is to fight Helenius next to try those new tips, then Ruiz for redemption.
Redemption in a sense that he lost both Fury fights in my book, the second he lost big.

Then get the Joshua vs Fury winner for all the marbles in 2021.
It would be one of the greatest come back in HW.

But it is not happening thanks to Arum, Haymon and Hearn not trusting each others and being greedy.

The numbers of Fury vs Wilder 2 are bad and a trilogy won't do any better.
Wilder might derail a Fury vs JOshua mega fight, while if Fury beats up Wilder again, he retires Wilder.

They should build up Fury vs Wilder 3 for 2021.

They should fed Helenius to Wilder as I said in a previous post. He would be a good fight overall and I love that fight for Wilder.

Then Wilder can get Ruiz, Ruiz is a 6'1 monster, much easier than 6'9 monster.

The problem is Fury might lose to Josh or retire and Wilder would be left without a chance to get revenge against the Gipsy King.

Wilder's biggest question to himself should be...

1. Do I get KTFO out again for $X? OR...
2. Take a MASSIVE step aside fee now, let Fury fight AJ, and then have an even more massive payday to fight AJ or Fury later.

I think the latter minus the fighting Fury or AJ at a later date. Its -pretty much a guarantee that there will be a 2-way rematch clause. If the undisputed fight does happen in December, Wilder will probably have to wait until 2022. By then, he will be a bit passed it, IMO.

Also, Fury has given the blueprint on how to beat Wilder and can see someone else stepping up and KOing him.

Wilder just needs to chill and relax. I believe, he was more mentally fatigued than physically fatigued. Since he is no longer the champion; Then let Tyson Fury carry most of the load of promoting the fight this time by doing most of the interviews and appearances.

Deontay can't concentrate on doing more than one thing at a time. His job is to fight; Not to promote. He just needs to focus on training. All that strain and pressure just wore his body down in the rematch. Doing both was just too much of a burden for him to carry.

In addition, he needs a new trainer and a new promoter. Someone who is going teach him the basic fundamentals of boxing and a promoter who the public can see.

Wilder should come into the third fight light. A light Wilder is the best version of him. Wilder was shocked, he never thougt Fury would dare to fight him the way he did and it paid off. Wilder will be better prepared and even though Fury is going to be a clear favortite Wilder will be dangerous.

Don't think this fight is going to take place anytime soon. Corona is knocking out the whole world.
