Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: Fury vs. Joshua Has To Happen This Year

Tyson Fury v Anthony Joshua has to happen this year, promoter Frank Warren has said. Warren, who co-promotes Fury with Bob Arum, isn't interested in the fight happening in a year or two and told BT Sport that Fury is this generation's number one heavyweight.

If the fight happens it should be a £30 PPV package with the negotiations between Hearn and Warren as chief support.

          Good on Warren.

Have to agree with him.The Fury/Wilder fight was the best heavyweight fight to be made. Now its Fury/Joshua.

Wilder will never have the same allure now he has been battered by Fury.

Bob Arum is not in the least bit interested in that shit; Only Frank Warren, Matchroom, Eddie Hearn and the Brits are.

Am glad to hear Warren speaking like this too, hopefully after July we would have the right winners facing each other in an undisputed fight, no matter what i hope Fury wins, if he does he would fight Joshua or better yet Pulev as they are under the same banner.
