Comments Thread For: Joshua Will Look To Be More Destructive With Pulev, Says Hearn

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, indicates that his boxer will be looking to do a lot more damage than he did in his last ring outing. Back in December in Saudi Arabia, Joshua won a twelve round unanimous decision over Andy Ruiz in their rematch.

Most importantly, Joshua must box for himself, not to please anyone else. Naturally he's a destructive style but he must not forget put his defence in place.

When's he's aggressive and comes forward he's always open for that sweet temple shot, happens every time and he does that funny little dance. Should be a AJ win as it's no secret he's going for the highlight reel ko, but DON'T RULE PULEV OUT! anything can happen with Aj's crappy punch resistance.

Of course he can he can follow the blueprint of Wilder and just get backed up and spend most of the night blocking punches with your ear or picking himself of the canvas. Having said that Wilder vs Fury fight was a great fight but for who? Ask Wilder if he would prefer to stick and move from Fury and get the W or have his corner throw in the towel and get destructively stopped on his feet?

He has been ruled out. AJ vs Fury December 2020 with special guest retired boxer Deontay Wilder singing the British National anthem for team Fury

I'm not knocking him. I wrote him off after losing to Ruiz, but he showed he can change his game and stick to a gameplan, so credit for that. However, he's hardly going to be able to sustain the level of support he's gained from casuals if he continues to jab & move his way to a points victory here is he?

Exactly, some folks have no clue when it comes to art of war. It seems like they think playing into strength of your opponent is show of toughness. ******.

He does the funny little dance like you won't get sparked out cold with temple shot whilst throwing up all the cider you have downed from birth. What a clown!

You should be more worried about Pulev not ending up in a coma. We know he hasn't been the same since Wlad landed a left hook flush on him. And he has been fighting cream puffs and sexually harassing women since then. Once he sees Josh's left hook coming, he'll start having nightmares and take a dive.
