Where do you dry the line on human consumption?
It's no surprise that China treats its general population like garbage and is guilty of so many atrocities and human and animal rights violations that virtually any other country would be up on serious charges. Of course the world benefits economically from cheap products produced through child and slave labour so quality of life and human rights aren't exactly high on the totem pole.
I'm all for different cultures and different diets but you have to draw the line somewhere. I thought China was one of the oldest cultures in existence. What have they learned over all these years? When will they stop eating animals that are rife with disease? They obviously are doing this by choice, not be necessity. Stop eating bats, ****, lizards and disease ridden anteater like creatures!
On the other hand, maybe this is nature's way of thinning out the Chinese population which is beyond bloated and putting a strain on the natural world.
