If we get the fight in the UK the numbers will be ridiculous over 2.4 for me roughly

How many ppv buys does Fury Vs Joshua do?

Depending at what time it is aired is how it would do in the US. There is no real buzz over here yet so it is hard to say at this point.

This is a HUUUGE fight if it happens in the UK--i.e. the spiritual home of boxing--I just hope it gets scheduled properly, right time of the month, not too near to other big events, etc. The potential buys for this is enormous, the country will stop and watch

The US could do 1 million PPV
The UK would do 3 million PPV.
Could easily generate close to half a billion.

so probably 4m total? I dunno abt the rest of the world, it will be awkward time of day in USA

You kind of understand now maybe why? This fight would be staged elsewhere other than the UK 'So that the fight can be shown live at a decent time in America'.
I am bored of the UK based stadium fights, maybe now is the moment to branch out and stage big fights in more places around the world etc
What is it with that song 'Sweet Caroline' there seems to be a obsession with it.Last edited by PRINCEKOOL; 03-10-2020, 04:28 PM.

Tough call to make which way you go to maximize the money.
It all depends how much ppv money they’d like to get from North America
Even having here at 8 pm wouldn’t really get much views imo
But if they could push it to like 10 pm , I know it be 3am for you guys but bars and homes would make a significant difference in numbers
It would be kind of an event of sort
I recall watching many fights , AJ vs Wlad and even Fury , many people didn’t even know it was going down besides the hard core unfortunately
