You're missing out man. Japanese boxers don't marinate anything. The best fight the best, and there are rarely bad scorecards. It's a completely different culture over there, built on respect. Tanaka is moving up to his fourth weight class and immediately fighting Ioka. No marination.
I need to be proactive in catching the fights out of Japan. I saw “God Left” fight a few times but only at the tail end of his career and two of them were losses to Nery and he since retired. I loved that nickname though. I’ll look out for this Tanaka vs Ioka fight.
