Comments Thread For: Jamel Herring vs. Carl Frampton Will Land on June 13 in Belfast

Carl Frampton's challenge for Jamel Herring's WBO super featherweight title will go ahead in Belfast on June 13. Herring had long ago agreed to go to Frampton's home city for the fight, but the Northern Irishman first had to recover from operations on both his hands. The fight will be promoted by Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions in association with Top Rank. It is expected to be formally announced this week.

Herring if you're reading this. Get after that dude and get the stoppage. He smaller than you. Bully him.

Bro I’ll get to it, once I get a contract signed! I’ve been waiting for weeks! June 13th was the expected date but I been waiting to at least sign something.

Actually a good matchup I think Frampton is too small for 130 but we shall see.

            Should be a good fight

Frampton looked good last time out. Opponent wasn’t great but it’s the sharpest he looked for a while.

Good luck, I'm sure it'll be a great fight for us fans. Stay safe.

FYI I'll be rooting for Carl, one of my favourite fighters currently!

Will be a very special night if Frampton pulls it off. I’ll probably travel over to Belfast for this one. Herring seems like a good dude as well so I wouldn’t begrudge him winning this, I’m rooting for Frampton to have one final hurrah though, he’s been a great servant for British boxing.

The crowd will be great for this one. Probably worth a trip if you're nearby.
