I don't understabd the hype at all, that loss was cause of how bad kownacki is rather than helenius being good. Swear on this site people's memory of a fighter only extends to their last fight, fact is he never has and never will be world level

No one has hyped him but a couple of people are using him to poke fun at the PBC protection plan.

If you were stopped by Duhaupas, you are no world beater, that is for sure.

I wanna se Helenius against Breazeale/Martin/Wallin/Ajagba, name it, but I won`t be surprised if all those guys stop him.
Helenius is a decent fighter who made the most of an opportunity and probably earned himself another payday or two. I say good for him.

              Precisely.

Everyone has a little Rocky Balboa in them and Helenius had his moment. Now it’s time to cash in.

Absolutely. He is/was on the decline - a loss to Gerald Washington is telling - but this gives him a definite boost, especially because he can ride on the coattails of Kownacki's hype. I don't think anyone's expecting to see him grab any belts, but I can see him pinball around the top ten for a year or two.

Helenius is what he is. A lot of us were high on him when he was a prospect, and getting KO’d by Duhaupas kind of ruined him. He’s got talent and he’s got power in both arms, and more importantly he keeps his power when he’s on the rear foot which is rare.

That said, he’s also 36 years old, and his confidence took a massive blow after that loss which a lot of us didn’t think he’d recover from. When he mentioned that he let his guard down against Washington and would make up for it, I kind of rolled my eyes, but he proved me wrong.

Losses don’t matter as much as how you come back from them. This is how he should have come back from the Duhaupas loss.
